Travelling Stash

Back in January Laalaa asked if anyone fancied a UK travelling stash.  I'd seen these going on with our American friends and really wanted in so I signed up.  Basically, Laalaa started a box and put some craft supplies in it. She then sent it to the next person on the list who took some out and added some in, off went the box to the next person and so on.  Except she had to start with two boxes as so many of us signed up!

Last week my mum told me I'd got a parcel.  I thought it was the polymer clay I'd ordered so I was thrilled when I got my sweaty little hands on that box and found out it was the travelling stash!  The box came to me from Gill at Dosie Rosie, and she included a package just for me!

A gorgeous handmade pincushion that's already been stabbed, a FQ of fabric, a fab Union Flag notebook, a roll of tape measure washi tape and the most gorgeous hand made card!  Thanks so much Gill. xx

I'm not allowed to show you what I've put in, or what I didn't take, but here's what I did take.  A FQ
A handbag clasp
A card of poppers
Some long pins
Cross stitch snow globe patterns
Reel of ribbon (already used on the wiggly bags)
A tin with buttons on it
Some clay flowers
Some resin flat backed... things!
Some brooch backs

Yep, I took a lot.  But I put A LOT in too so I hope no-one will think I'm being greedy.  Now I just have to find time to get to the post office... I don't think it'll be until next week I'm afraid.

Want to know where it's heading next?

What a fantastic idea. If I'd known I'd have signed up for that! Never mind, at least you've introduced me to a new blog. I like UK blogs. They talk about stuff we can actually buy!

What a great idea! I've never heard of this before. I'd love to get one started amongst my crafty friends.

This is a lovely idea. I wish I was blogging back in January as I would have signed up.
