When I have to iron something like that, I usually put in a washclot, which gives just enough sturdyness to iron the wrinkles away.Just-Dohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03765881124105533220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902503112918417582.post-71874678683347057342011-04-28T03:44:37.430+01:002011-04-28T03:44:37.430+01:00I love this! And I love the pincushion too! I always press my seams open, it just looks better and they seem to last longer. I don't like the bump when you press them to one side. The only exception to that is my Sis Boom quilt - I pressed to one side on the curves, too hard to press them open.Alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06877277586697593998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902503112918417582.post-55915078260149676802011-04-27T15:56:20.199+01:002011-04-27T15:56:20.199+01:00I have a work in progress trunk!

Funny how things often work out better the second time around.
I like perle cotton #5 but not for embroidery - I prefer it for canvas work or hardanger, things like that. Sometimes I think those that prefer it for embroidery don't do well taking the strands of regular embroidery thread apart and have trouble deciding how many to use - just a guess, but who cares really? We should all use what we like!
Regardless, your things turned out beautifully, wrinkles and all.Jillaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01533504920962855079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902503112918417582.post-11794824058366156992011-04-27T13:59:52.683+01:002011-04-27T13:59:52.683+01:00PFfffffffffft only an amateur has a WIP shelf.
