Using the fabric in stripes works well... there's something about the colours that's very pleasing to the eye.Pam @Threading My Wayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15990609128028224347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902503112918417582.post-37274872976828571682011-03-18T12:57:17.297+00:002011-03-18T12:57:17.297+00:00Great tutorial! If you wanted to quilt both sides, you'd add batting to both pieces, and quilt them, then put them together.Alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06877277586697593998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902503112918417582.post-49663982627044210062011-03-13T22:44:46.182+00:002011-03-13T22:44:46.182+00:00Wendy, well done. I have generally quilted the "good" side to the thermal batting, proceeded with attaching the lining to the quilted fabric, and then turned the whole mess. It is bulky and requires the use of a canvass/denim needle because of the thickness. The table mats presented in Sew Pretty Homestyle by Tone Finnanger are easy and a nice hand quilting project.Nancy Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01495672268045907181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902503112918417582.post-91532766017085031372011-03-13T21:59:40.657+00:002011-03-13T21:59:40.657+00:00Very Cool.Very Cool.Tezzcanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15873575909326217407noreply@blogger.com
