I have been collecting bunny fabrics for a few years now. I haven't actually bought many this year as I already had so many (a noteable exception being Critter - linked to a random UK shop as I can't remember where I bought it!). I have over 100 FQs or scraps with bunnies on:
Some I've bought, some were bought for me by Mr CA one Christmas and some were gifts from friends and quilt buddies. I sorted them into rainbow order.
Then at October's EMMQG meeting I began sewing. I had to figure out the dimensions I wanted as I'm not following a pattern. I started with 2" and 3" centre squares, I just couldn't make it work with one size only, but as I only have a vague plan, I'm sure it'll be fine!
I stitched some of the greens and all of the purples into polaroid blocks. They will be set wonkily into background squares. I bought some navy spot fabric for this project, but now I'm wondering about Kona solids in a variety of colours... I'm sure it'll be a while before I've finished them so plenty of time to think about it!
I can't see the purple ones in this picture, I hope I didn't leave them at the guild meeting! I only have about 5 as it's hard enough to get purple fabric, let alone purple fabric featuring bunnies!

Sunday Stash
Looking for my Grow Your Blog Post?

It's here.
I'm linking up to Sunday Stash with Molli as I did a bit of accidental fabric buying.

I went to John Lewis for some embroidery thread (and was surprised to discover they don't sell DMC). Of course, I had to have a quick look at the fabric, and what did I find?
Bunnies!
Not just bunnies but bunnies with umbrellas and bunnies riding bicycles! These are FreeSpirit Playdate Wheels and FreeSpirit Playdate Clouds. Can't believe I missed them before.

Christmas fabric that's not Christmassy
The lovely hubs bought me some fabric for Christmas.
Rabbits! I'd love to tell you what it is, but I just don't know! I must get started on that rabbit quilt...

Sunday Stash
I'm linking up to Sunday Stash today. I went on a bit of a rabbit fabric rampage... not sure what came over me but several hours of perusing the ranges of bunny fabrics in most UK online shops lead me to this:
I'm so glad I got my hands on that Dress Up fabric... maybe I should have bought more... The central one - the blue, comes in several different colours but I couldn't find it anywhere that had other bunny fabrics, I was trying to keep the shipping cost down.
Here is what they all are:
The Eternal Maker

| 2 - | Kate Spain Daydreams Arcadia in Ink on White (27170 24) | |

Plush Addict
4 - Michael Miller - Foxtrot Citron

The cutest fabric in the world...
Wow, I disappeared there for a bit... what, you didn't notice? Ah well!
Just a quick one today to show off this cute little bunny fabric. It's so cute I could actually eat it (if I wasn't anti-eating rabbits and anti-eating fabric).
The lovely Quirky Hannah discovered it and asked me if I wanted some... did I! Thank you Hannah, it was so nice of you to think of me.
I am adding it to my bunny fabric collection... it hasn't grown much in the last few months, but it's about too. I might have accidentally done some online shopping... ooops!

Hello Mr. bunny!
Last month I failed to complete a cross stitch small for the Smalls SAL. This month, I'm on my game! I actually finished him at the beginning of April.

The pattern seems to be a free cover gift from Cross Stitch Crazy, but I got it in the Travelling Stash that I joined in with last year. The pack contains charts, a couple of cards and some stickers, but no threads. I stitched from stash so ignored the recommended threads.
All of the bunnies on the chart are honey brown, but I'm going to stitch one for each of my buns, this one is Colin.
Speaking of bunnies, I got the most wonderful, generous surprise from my lovely friend Susan. The yellow is perfect as I have so few yellow bunny fabrics, and I love the lilac Posy. Thanks Susan, it's very much appreciated.
Whilst making my chair cushions, I picked out two layer cake slices featuring bunnies from Lily and Will. It's a shame I used the cream one without noticing, and who knows if there are others which I used in making the panel that is lost? Ah well, at least I have these to add to the collection.

shopping handmade, and, erm, bunny fabric
I had the day off work yesterday. I went to get my hair cut and on getting home I went out to see my bunnies. Would you believe, someone (and I suspect it must be one of the reprobates living in the house next door) had dumped a whole pile of dog poo over the wall into my garden?? It was in a pile next to Colin and Ellis and swarming with flies. I am absolutely furious with the disgusting b%^&*ds.
Anyway, I think you all know that I love bunnies? So anyone that also know's Mia's work would probably guess that I'd love it. And I do. I have ordered from Mia before and when she brought out these sweet little needlefelted bunny brooches in a little bunny shopping bag, I couldn't resist! As I'm a return customer, she also generously threw in a snowdrop magnet. How cute?

I went shopping again. I've lost the little note I wrote telling me what these fabrics are and where they're from. I think they're from Celtic Fusion, but don't quote me. Top left in Anita Hooey's Posy, bunnies in lilac. Top right is Lily and Will but the other one is a bit of a mystery.
Then my Village Stash Society bundle turned up. Orange!! Yay! Clearly Annie was reading me moaning about the lack of orange in my stash (or rather it's coincidence as the colours were decided from the beginning!). Now I'm lacking purples...
The bank manager is really mad at me now, so this month will bring a bit of Littlest, a new FMQ foot and that is it!
Update: A wonderful bloggy friend sent me some more bunny fabrics yesterday! I will post about them very soon.

Yep you guessed it, more bunnies
I spent 3 hours looking online for bunny fabric. Some I purchased, most I just bookmarked as unfortunately I don't have an unlimited budget! I just have to hope they're not gone next week when I come to buy them!
The first three FQs are called Lucky and I bought them from a Thai seller on Ebay. Wondering why they fit the bill?
See the bunnies dressed as Matroyshkas? How adorable is that. If anyone is collecting fabrics with mice dressed as Russian dolls, give me a shout and I'll send you some scraps!
Ange answered my plea for more bunnies, more bunnies, more, more more! She told me where I could find some of the difficult to find Posy by Anita Hooey fabrics. I ordered them in pink and lilac from The Brighton Sewing Centre, my first time as a customer of this shop. Definitely not the last though. I ordered on the Thursday, on the Friday I got a refund via Paypal and a note saying they'd run out of lilac bunnies and had sent me a refund and a free FQ. I must have skimmed it as I didn't notice the bit about the free FQ but, the very next day my order turned up and had a free FQ, what amazing service is that? I also bought another FQ of Enchanted in green as I noticed I was lacking green, and this Wildwood print.
Tucked into the bundle were a couple of scraps. One of them featured this little bunny, bottom right of the photo above! I wonder if they noticed I was going after bunnies, or it was a coincidence? It was gratefully received, though I now have to identify and find that fabric in all colour-ways possible!
So this is where I am right now. 20 FQs and one scrap. A lot of blue. I definitely need some purple and lilac, more shades of green, more red, orange and pink and some yellow. Not much then! I've started a Pinterest board... my bank manager is going to kill me.
I've also been the lucky winner of a few giveaways recently...
First up, I won a giveaway hosted by Vera of Negligent Style. She sent me this gorgeous 1/2 yard of fabric along with the cute little quilt block card:
I won another giveaway at 1/4 incher, Stephanie sent me a charm pack courtesy of the Fat Quarter Shop, I chose Simply Style:
During the Grow Your Blog blog hop, I won a handmade necklace from Dawn at Sadie Jewelry Design:

more bunny fabric
I am definitely going to make a bunny quilt. I haven't chosen a pattern yet, I'm still in mad fabric buying stage! These little babies joined my stash last week.
The blue one is Ric Rac Rabbits, the white is another print of Enchant and the red is Ric Rac rabbits again, all from Hulu. The teal is another colour way of Critter Patch from a seller on Ebay.
So having a look at the full line up... From left top, going down in columns:
Red ric rac rabbits
Pink unknown
Orange Forest Playground
Cream Just for Fun
White Enchant
White/red/black unknown
Cream Just for Fun from Celynn
White Enchant tea party
Blue Just for Fun
Blue Lily and Will
Blue Ric Rac Rabbits
Teal Critter Patch
Grey Critter Patch
Aqua Enchant Tea Party
I also have 2 Bluebird Park prints which aren't show - Orange on Teal and Yellow on Grey.
This is going to be a rainbow quilt, by necessity. The plan is to build up the stash more and think about a pattern. I clearly need more red, and yellow fabrics. I'm doing OK for white and blue. Green needs some serious effort and I need to find some purple too.
So my lovely readers, you're all on bunny watch! Please keep an eye out and let me know if you come across any. My lovely US reader (or anyone) can let me know when lines come out so I can put them on my radar. UK readers, I'd love it if you let me know if you spot any I'm missing on your shopping trips around t'internet. Ange - I have bought some Posy as suggested!
When I've got a few more, I might need to think about Ebay and Etsy for older lines (though it's pricey) and even Spoonflower, but I'm going for the current and mainstream first. If anyone did want to send me any bunny scraps, I might be able to offer you something in return...

the building of the stash
I've noticed a lot of bloggers are on a fabric diet. This worries me as the economy is still fragile and only just entering recovery. I had to do something about it. But what could I do? Well buy fabric of course, all the fabric!
The green bundle for The Village Haberdashery Stash Society also turned up. Yummy greens!
I decided to see what other bunny prints I have. The answer is not many. These are the FQs I dug out, and of course there are the two BlueBird Park ones. I think I might have a few scraps from a Lilly and Will layer cake too... I need more bunny prints, I need a bunny quilt. Will you tell me if there are any more that are out or if more do come out? I need them. NEED, not want.
The UK economy will thank you.
I LOVE Bluebird Park and had to have the bunny fabric. I had a good look around and found that the shop with the most prints that I wanted was Hulu. I have no firm idea what I'll do with these, but the background prints and the bunny prints are 1/2 metres so I was thinking about a quilt. I bought a charm pack in the end after putting a layer cake in my basket 3 times and taking it out 3 times. (After this arrived, I realised I'd already bought an FQ of the first two prints!)
With the money I'd saved on the layer cake, I bought a couple of mini charm packs by my favourite designers and a piece of this Happy Go Lucky fabric. I'm planning another splash mat for the kitchen.
I'm all for helping the global economy, not just the UK economy, so during the Great Fabric Destash on Instagram I nabbled these prints and promptly forgot what they were. I missed the UK Destash due to being forgetful... Probably for the best.
These FQs came from a new-to-me shop, Plush Addicts. It's all Di's fault. I saw the bunny tea party fabric on her blog and had to go and find some and buy it. It's called Enchant. In the same shop I bought another two bunny prints from the Just For Fun line from Makower (it seems to be called something else in other shops) and one print which includes a bunny from Forest Playground. The Henry Glass teapot fabric fell into my basket.
