Whilst on my first honeymoon in Wales, I found a little craft shop and bought a copy of The Art of French Beading - a gorgeous book filled with lovely flowers to bead. I was so excited and when I got home I bought the supplies to make the first project in the book. That's as far as I got! I keep meaning to make one and will get round to it one day!
In the meantime, I decided to make a beaded brooch to go with the summer shawl for Graz. I completely ignored the fact that I had no idea what I was doing and in I launched. The end result isn't too bad:
I don't think that jewellery making is going to be my forté, but I'm not giving in yet!
