Oh Wendy I do love you - I've just read your post about your car/eye/hexies and then this one. I hope your car can be fixed, I hope your eye is now better and I feel your pain about these bloody hexies. I was 4 blocks behind about to be 6 blocks behind all because I didn't want to do these 2 EPP blocks. So I've bitten the bullet and I'm on my way. I've chosen the 'cheating' method, machine sewing with a zig zag stich and invisible thread. Well you still have to baste those bloody pieces and I've never sewn together a block that looks such a mess in my life. I'm praying that quilting will make them somewhere near presentable. I didn't enjoy all the cutting and I'm detesting the basting and sewing, I'm gearing myself up for another day of it today and procrastinating by catching up on some bloggy reading. You've cheered me up no end and I so hope the universe stops shitting on you very, very soon :)
I just did a little bit of hexiing - didnt enjoy it too much. The next project for our stitch along has hexies too but this time 1 inch whereas the ones for this month were 1/2 inch. The good thing is that it does get finished if you keep at it. Then you can say you have achieved it.
I don't collect your data in any shape or form. I will email you a reply to your comment, but I don't keep a record of your email address. If you don't want me to see your email address, don't comment.
I don't collect cookies. I'm not entirely sure what they are or how I'd go about collecting them. Google might though. In fact I'm positive they do. You'll have to ask them what they do with them as I don't know.
lol. You will get there Wendy!! The hexie's do look great, that's the reward for all your patience.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Anita.
