Happily hooking

Remember I've been going on and on and on about my friend having a baby?  Well I finished the last present.  Maybe the last present.  I might still crochet a bunny.  But anyway - mitts - ta dah!

Crocheted in Sidar Baby Bamboo to match everything else.

Here are all the patterns in case you want a go:

blanket  - pattern here
mitts - pattern here
booties - pattern here

Here's the full set together.

Now hurry up baby, I want to meet you!!

Recently it seems that whenever I talk about crochet, there's a washcloth involved.  Oh yes, there's a washcloth in this post too!  This uses the Circle in a Square pattern from 200 Crochet Blocks (for more information see my Craft Book Challenge page) and a bead stitch border from Round the Corner Crochet Borders.

I really like this block and could fancy it for a blanket.

Lucky baby - that's a sweet set - I hope his/her momma will send you a picture of the new little one all blinged out in crocheted hugs! The washcloth is beautiful too - you do such pretty work!

What a lucky baby...... to have all that greeting him/her at birth. It's such a beautiful set, Wendy.

Beautiful colors on the wash cloth. :)

Aww, those mitts are too sweet! I love crocheted stuff for baby. I still have a sweater my mom made for me when I was born...I like the pattern of the washcloth too, it would look great to do a bunch of those squares and sew them together!

This is such a sweet baby set! I'm awful at crocheting, but if I could, I would definitely be making this!

Hi Wendy. How cute are those little booties?! I have a new niece or nephew on the way SOON. These would be fun to make. I really like your blog. What a cool way to track your crafty progress. Happy to see you at Tangled Happy. Thanks for your comments! :)
