Key fobs (for giants)

Good morning!  35 years ago today my poor mother and father were lumbered with a baby daughter who was bald until she was 2 and wouldn't go anywhere without her red wellies on.  I have hair these days and I've abandonned the wellies, but I do love my red trainers...

On a totally unrelated note, I made some key fobs.  I roughly used the measurements from this tutorial at Prudent Baby.

I remember seeing them everywhere a year or so ago but I could never track down the hardware.  Maybe I wasn't searching for the right word, or maybe it's a prohibited product in the UK, but I eventually bought some from Hong Kong, or maybe America.  It was a while ago and I've completely forgotten!  I also bought the twill tape stuff.  It's 1 1/4 " thick, and I used 10" lengths, folded in half.  It makes it pretty big, but I suppose it has to be to get your hand through.

The ribbons I've used are all ones I've stashed over the years for whatever reason.  I bought the Union Flag one as I just had to have it, ditto the bunnies.  I bought the pig one as I knew my mum would like it.  I gave her one of the pig key fobs below and she loves it, even though it's almost as big as her.

I think someone sent me this chicky ribbon, perhaps as part of a giveaway win.  I can't remember who and I'm too lazy to go back and look.  My old posts are so badly tagged I struggle to find stuff.  I have been doing a bit of tag tidying, but at nearly 500 posts (I know!  Someone shut me up), I've still got a way to go.  And I'd forgotten about it until I just mentioned it.

The rabbit one is for me.  But you guessed that, didn't you?

It's now day 6 of the UR Priceless blog hop, hosted by the lovely Katherine. Go and visit the participants, there's a chance to win a price with each comment you leave! Click the button above to see the prizes and the full line up.
