Retired?? What am I supposed to do now??

Unfortunately it's not me that's retiring.  It's Google Reader.  It will be gone from the 1st July.  Ladies, what am I to do??  I've always read my blogs through Google Reader.  I don't know what the alternatives are, can anyone help?  Please...

Update:  I'm now hooked up to Feedly.  I tried Bloglovin' but it wouldn't sync my feeds so I went with Feedly.  It was all connected and ready to roll in about 3 minutes!

I'm in the same boat. I just tried feedly on someone's recommendation and found it so un-user friendly. It wouldn't even let me add websites properly. ugh

Actually, I might totally take that last comment back. I'm just a web dolt. Feedly could actually be a good option . . just worked out how to import everything from google reader into feedly with one click, and the display is very similar

Same problem here :S I'm thinking of trying out Bloglovin, no idea if it's any good yet though.

don't panic! bloglovin or newsblur are the way to go. Also check out pileofabric's blog - she has some alternatives too

What's google reader? I've only ever accessed people's blogs on Blogger, on the dashboard.

Another friend suggested Feedly, too. I'm taking my time and keeping my ears open...

I've never used it so it won't matter to me - I have some bookmarked on my toolbar in lists and the rest are on my blog as ones I follow - I just go on my blog and read them from there. It's always worked well for me. Good luck!
