When will it be over?  Please let it be over soon...

Firstly, my jokes were not my own, they were Tommy Cooper's. He is a comedy genius. You're insulting the KING OF COMEDY NOW!

Secondly, you're obviously not that blind, it takes them a week to manufacture the lenses for my specs to get sent into the opticians to make them into glasses. I think it's because they have to melt down an entire desert to get enough glass to make my thick, thick, thick lenses.

Thirdly, I told you '13 was going to be amazing... :/

Oh..my! So sorry, but I just couldn't help laughing out loud, not at your situation but the descriptive language you use! Well, after all these .. uhm.. unfortunate events, maybe the universe will have a mercy and just get off of your back!
Hope your eye gets better!
P.S. Love the hexies :)

Are you wearing a bull's eye or what?! So sorry things have been crap, Wendy. Must be something good ahead if you can just hang in there...

Poor you ! Such a tale of woe - I do sympathise ! Keep going on the hexies, they're looking great !(I had email off to save people the trouble of replying - too much time out of busy lives !)

What have you done to upset the Gods?? They definitely have it in for you at the minute. Think you will have to make an appropriate sacrifice - ritual burning of a list might do the trick!

Hope your eye heals soon. Sorry you're having a crap time of it .X

Oh dear, I am so sorry.
But now you have glasses for those lens emergencies - I wore lens for years and had many such emergencies.
Your poor mini will mend I'm sure - I saw a super duper Union Jack one the other day.
Making anything with hexagons is a slow business - just be calm and enjoy the process.
And I can hang sparkly prisms in your window and all will be well with the world.

Ugh,this sounds like the most hellish day! Are you in pain still? I sure hope not. If it's any consolation, I think your hexies look great! I'm loving those colors. I hope tomorrow is a lot better! Oxo~Lisa

OK, so that's your 3 bad things - the house, the car, your eye - it's supposed to get better big time now. Sending lots of hugs and positive thoughts.
Cheers, Robyn xo

I had this once. Worst pain ever! Glad they picked up the more serious nature of the issue at the opticians' office. Here, they send immediately to the hospital if they think it is anything other than pink eye. Buck up there, things will improve. Honest.

Oh, Wendy, hugs are being sent to you, sorry I don't have a magic wand to make it all better for you. I hope the place where you took the car was insured and will pay to repair the damage, but more importantly, look after your eye and yourself.

My good friend Derek - you are in the wars! Surely there must be an end to the bad luck soon (soon like you know, today!).

In the meantime, I do hope you treat yourself with some new fabric or other fun craft supply because you definitely deserve it!

I had an eye ulcer, except I missed the walk in and went straight to the opticians who sent me to eye casualty. It hurts doesn't it! At least they caught it and you can now get better. I am very impressed with your 10 minute specs though!

I think the only reason I don't have even more bad luck is the fact I never go out, but my life follows the law of 'if it can go wrong it will'
I hope your eye feels better.

Oh MAN you should have said, if you went to Queens, carpark 2 is effectively free as the barrier is missing because of the whatever-the-hell-they're-digging-up-the-road-for thing is going on! I didn't pay at all when I went to A&E the other week.

You need to get compensation from the car wash. Seriously.

OMG! I understand. I wear contact lenses and have scratched my eye and had an ulcer.....they hurt like heck!!!! I have been a bit more fortunate that it usually only takes a couple of days to get over, so you must've really done a good job on your eye!!! Hope you get better soon! By the way your lovely hexies look.....you have a good eye!!!! EEekkkkk!
Cheers, Anita.

1. I hope the car place is going to fix Norbert!
2. Good luck tomorrow @ the eye doctor!
3. I don't mind making hexies but I wouldn't actually stitch them together because of the Y or inset seams (whatever they might be properly called) - no way Jose! I love the look, but am not willing to do the handwork :D

Universe - UP YOURS! (that's a line from Independence Day, lol) -- leave our Wendy alone!

Oh dear - poor you! Eye trouble is just the worst thing - I have terrible eyesight too so I think I understand why you are upset. I hope it gets better soon!
As far as your hexies go - they look great. I myself don't mind sewing them together - it's getting the ruddy paper out that I hate!

Oh Wendy you are going through it aren't you! Hope your eye is better. I'm sending you some positive vibes to banish all the bad luck you've been having. Chin up lovely lady, hugs. Em xx
