more purple squares

Slowly, slowly, very slowly I'm still crocheting squares for the rainbow sampler blanket that might never be.  I'm going to make you look at them anyway.  No!  Don't skip this post, you'll love it.  Promise.

All squares are from 200 Crochet blocks by Jan Eaton.

#173 Big Round - this one is pretty dense in the centre.  I know I'm casting aspersions on its character there, but it is.  Dense and then airy...

#62 Edged Square - this rather pants photo is courtesy of Photobucket who no longer makes photo editing possible as it flips the photo upside down, you crop where you think it should be on the correct-way-up photo and wait for it to flip the photo back and crop it.  Yeah, great gimmick Photobucket.

That's all for now.  Did you love it?  No, I lied.

I do my photo-editing offline with the Gimp, but then I'm an old-fashioned girl!

I rather like your bullseye square!

I just finished my 180th granny square for an afghan... then promptly put them aside as sewing them all up is byond me at the moment. Can't wait to see the rest of yours.

Lol, you mad bugger! I don't visit often anymore but I should as you make me laugh. We all need more laughter :).Your crochet squares look better than the ones I've attempted. That's why mine aren't on my blog :P.

Picmonkey is really fast and easy online for editing if you want to try that. I've made 6 squares for a crochet blanket - that was 3 years ago - haven't gotten any further!

Yes I did love it! I hope you will eventually have enough of these squares to make the blanket. I love doing these sampler blankets too. And I have a few Jan Eaton books - although not this one.
