It is, of course paper pieced. I used Quiet Play's Just My Type alphabet to piece it. We were each given a dimension that we had to fit into, luckily my size meant that I didn't have to increase or decrease the letters at all, so I'm pretty pleased I didn't have to fight the work photocopier whilst pretending that I was photocopying important work documents and not sewing patterns!
I know. My hashtag is pretty crap.
But I'm quite pleased with the rest of it!

what a shame I am not going to FOQ this year but you are sure to share a photo of your group quilt
Great job! Can't wait to see the full project :D
It looks great Wendy! I hope you'll show us the whole project once everybody has done their part (and probably only after the show)!
Yes, it's turned out well. Was the hash the first section you did?
Oh no yours is a thousand times better than mine - I am going to want to redo it aren't I?! Brilliant.
And the reason you can't show the quilt plan is because I've not put the top together yet to photograph, yeah? :)
I love your paper pieced paper piecing! Very neat and very clever! :) x
that's some perfect piecing!
Well done on the teeny tiny paper piecing. Such precision!!!
And so you should be proud of it, it's very well done!
I'm unfortunately going to miss the Festival of Quilts yet again this year... we always seem to be away on holiday. But please share a pic of your group's entry once it's all done :-)
Have a happy week,
xx
Oh that's lovely - I used to do paper piecing almost exclusively! But ... do you spell piecing different over in the UK? Here we spell it piecing ... you have it peicing ... ???!!
PSYCH!! Just kidding!!! I bet I made you look, though, LOL!! :)
that is looking supreme - well done its a lot of paper piecing xxxx
Stunning!
Your paper pieced "paper pieced" turned out great!
That came out great! I can tell it must have been tedious as paperpiecing is.
Very nice paper piecing! Lovely greens too! Ha,glad to know I am not the only one who pretends to be photocopying "important work stuff" ;)
I really like the result of paper piecing your letters. So effective.
well done... heaps of work in that...

I love this, it's turned out really well. Look forward to seeing it take it's place in the whole
Looks perfect to me, very nicely done.
Greetings,
Sylvia
No your hashtag is great. As is "paper piecing". You have to admit your opening sentence is a lot of fun!
I have yet to do any paper pieceing myself but your paper piecing looks great! Ha - good to know that I'm not the only one who has photocopied patterns at work :)
I love this!!! What are your plans for this? i am tempted to make one, quilt and bind it and just hang it in my sewing space! The hashtag is so much fun--it takes the whole sentiment to a new level!
Oh, sorry---I missed your intro. A secret project. I can't wait to see more once you can reveal more! So much fun!
