A couple of weeks ago I whipped up these three advent calendars. I'd bought the fabric panels on sale back after Christmas last year, which was a very good idea as in November they were selling for £10! I can't remember who makes them, sorry!
This little angel was an order from a friend-of-a-friend who wanted the calendar for her little daughter. They go together really easily, the only frustrating part is the hours of pressing for the pockets.
Having said that, spot the pucker above? 3 times I unpicked that top stitching but could not get rid of the pucker, even though when it was un-sewn it laid perfectly flat?!?
I made two of this cheeky Santa. The calendars all have hanging rings at the top.
They're backed with pieced Christmas prints from an FQ bundle I won last year. Jovial, I think it is? I made the Santa ones to sell at the craft fair. Need I tell you they didn't sell? Ah well, I'll try them in my Folksy and Dawanda shops next year.

Bonne journée.

I can imagine you have been ironing hours on those pockets; but the result is beautiful. Great job.
I love the angel best!
Great looking calendars! What do you put into the daily pockets? I used to love getting an advent calendar, which was always given to me on my birthday at the end of Nov. I looked forward to locating each door.
The Santa advent calendar is lovely, I am amazed it didn't sell!
They're cute - it's just so hard to know what will sell and what won't - people are FAR from predictable :D
Oh my - these are wonderful!!!
I am in love with the Angel!! Remarkable work!
Do you use a walking foot for minimising puckers? I still get them though, one day I'll find some magical solution! x
