Wedding stuff and WIP

I am in the middle of working of various projects at the moment so don't have anything much to show you.

Here are some pictures of what I'm working on right now...

Teeny tiny knickers and bras!  No prizes for guessing what I'm going to make with these.
Anyway, back to me having no finished projects to post - and nothing for Finished for Friday!    I started this blog to keep a record for myself of the crafts I'd done and the things I'd made, so I suppose i should put some "old" projects on.  So, first up is my wedding stationary!  I left it all til the last minute, as I always do and I'd made such a complex design they took me ages!  Invites went out just 6 weeks before the wedding (which was in April this year)!!

I started with a save the date card - I had a premonition my invites would be late!

We had both day time guests and guests who joined us in the evening.  This is the invitation for the day time guests.  It is a tri-fold card with a pouch inside for the actual invitation.  On the two leaves is information about the menu and address.  It's all tied with the ribbon and the little heart charm:

The Evening invitations were slightly different as they didn't have so much information so were a single fold card, again tied with ribbon:

We didn't have Orders of Service as it was a civil ceremony so there wasn't much happening, other than us getting married of course!  As the meals had to be pre-ordered, I thought I should make individual menus to prevent people forgetting what they'd ordered!!

And of course everyone had a place name:

And the last thing to show you is these gorgeous favour bags.  They are blue, white or black (the wedding colours), threaded with ribbon and a beautiful bead.  We filled them with chocolate hearts.  I didn't make these, this was in my allergic-to-sewing days.  My wonderful mum made them for me:
