So, first the feature. Go and see how Pam at Threading My Way tackled pintucks.
and she also had a go at sewing on a suit button with great success.
I've tackled quite a few new techniques recently.
I had a go with the coiling gizmo to make jewellery.
I pioneered grease proof paper candles (well maybe I didn't, but I've never seen them before!)
As part of the Zakka Style sew along I had a go at glue in purse frames,
then more recently I tried sew in purse frames for the UR Priceless blog hop (see bottom of post).
I took a one-day course in silver art clay.
Reverse applique was my next
And finally I learnt to make peyote stitch stars.
If you'd tried something new, I'd love it if you linked up.
It's now day 4 of the UR Priceless blog hop, hosted by the lovely Katherine. Go and visit the participants, there's a chance to win a price with each comment you leave! Click the button above to see the prizes and the full line up.

Thanks so much, Wendy. I had fun with that pintucked skirt. I've just checked out your Crafts List. You might need two lifetimes to attempt them all, not that I know what they all are... LOL!!!
Wow Wendy, you've been SOOOO busy :)
I love trying new stuff too! I used to belong to a craft kit of the month club that was awesome b/c you'd get all the supplies you needed to try a new idea w/o having to sink your own money into it at the craft store.
I love the idea of always learning new skills and improving in your craft. It is very important not to get too comfortable and to keep challenging oneself. Great blog! Its amazing all the new things that you've tried.
I'll be checking in for ideas :)

We've just come back from Center Parcs and tried a willow workshop (wow, seriously, wow) and a silk painting workshop (I'm disappointed with my background). I'd recommend the willow workshop with the same guy but he's down in Longleat :) Silk painting is just a case of equipment and giving it a go with a good tutorial I'd imagine!
