Lant roundup

Good morning ladies.  It's been a while since we've had a LANT roundup.  For those of you that don't know, LANT stands for Learn a New Technique.  I'm on a one-woman mission to try every craft in my huge Crafts List (and always looking for new suggestions if I've missed anything) and I'm encouraging you to learn something new too.  If you've tried a new craft, or a new technique within a craft you already do, please add it to my ongoing Linky.

So, first the feature.  Go and see how Pam at Threading My Way tackled pintucks.    

and she also had a go at sewing on a suit button with great success.

I've tackled quite a few new techniques recently.

I had a go with the coiling gizmo to make jewellery.

I pioneered grease proof paper candles (well maybe I didn't, but I've never seen them before!)

As part of the Zakka Style sew along I had a go at glue in purse frames,

then more recently I tried sew in purse frames for the UR Priceless blog hop (see bottom of post).

I took a one-day course in silver art clay.

Reverse applique was my next victim technique.

And finally I learnt to make peyote stitch stars.
