They're made from the book Creative Seed Bead Connections by Teresa Meister. It is a fabulous book and I'd highly recommend it to any beadweavers out there.
These little components started out life as a little strip, this photo was clearly taken in the middle of the night, in a cave...
I used different combinations of 3mm crystals in black or gold, 8/0 seed beads in gold and 11/0 seed beads in black or gold. I'm actually quite impressed I remembered that 7 months later!
I made four in total. They took me hours. HOURS. Now to make the links to make them in to a necklace... I'll show you the finished piece in another 7 months or so...

Beautiful! I like how each one is different. Great job! :D
They are very pretty! And they do look labour intensive. I haven't used photobucket in over a year. I just upload the pics to blogger from my hard drive.
How lovely they are Wendy, I'm glad you found the post so we can enjoy them too - I hope it's not another seven months before an update; somehow I don't think it will be! Have a great weekend, xoJoy
Those are pretty - they look like brooches! LOL @ the photography in the cave - my basement sewing room photos look cave-like as well :D
So lovely
very nice clusters of beads, I am sure they will make a lovely necklace
Love the little pillows, hope you find the perfect setting for them
Great beads, well done for remembering the method, usually the hard part lol. Look forward to seeing the necklace. xcx
So did I for my first couple od years' blogging but you only grt a certain amount of space before having to pay. I ran out of space a long time ago
Delightful - but having had a go at this sort of beadwork, I can well believe they would have taken hours!
Beautiful! I haven't done much beadwork but I do admire it. What will you do with them?
They look complicated so I can well believe they took hours - worth it though as they look lovely.

They're gorgeous. It's amazing how long it takes to do a little beadwork. I find it meditative but definitely time consuming. These were more than worth the effort.
