Craft fair - the aftermath

Hello ladies,

The craft fair is DONE.  You wouldn't believe the relief I feel to have it done and out of the way.  I can now make whatever I want, whenever I want!  It went OK.  I didn't think we'd sell a thing but we sold quite a few pieces.  We made the stall cost within the first hour and a half which was a weight off our minds, we then sold a fair bit more.  I'm not exactly rolling in it, but we gave out loads of business cards, so fingers crossed something comes of it.

I'm in the process of updating my Folksy and Dawanda shops with stuff we didn't sell.  I need to get some quality photos, but I can only do that at the weekend, if the weather is playing fair.  If you're looking for Christmas bargains, come and have a look!

On another note, the lovely Kerry is trying to set up a UK-based quilting magazine.  She's currently looking for funding and you can help.  If you're interested in this magazine coming to life, please go to her Indiegogo page and have a look how you can contribute.  This can mean simply subscribing to one issue, 6 months or 12 months, or you could take out an advert.  If you're skint, you can take out a 1 issue subscription for a fiver, or just blog about it.

I've also recently won two blog awards.  First I got the Very Inspiring Blogging award from Mrs M Makes... I have just looked through my emails and now believe I made the second award up as I can't find details.  Thank you both anyway, Mrs M and imaginery blog-award-giver!

Loads of posts coming up on stuff I made for the fair.  Oh, and as for photos of the stall... erm, yes, I forgot!!

I was pretty sure you'd do great --- congratulations! But now it'll be nice to be able to relax now - preparing for a craft show is a huge stress! I wish someone had taken a picture of you and your mom at your stall - I would have loved to have seen that!

Delighted to hear that it all went well. Will this be the beginning of world domination?

So pleased everything went well for you at the fair. Looking at your pre stall set up, you have some lovely things on there.
