It was high time I did something with them, I was sick of moving them from cutting table to ironing board to sofa and back again! I had the house to myself last Saturday so I set myself up on the dining room table and spread the blocks out on the living room floor (it's open plan, I can't see through walls).
Time for sashing!
All sashed and rows sewn together. Now I have to square it up (it's nowhere near square or even at all!), then add the wide borders. I'm really nervous about this step as I really don't know how to go about squaring it up. It's a twin sized quilt (I think!), though to me that means a single bed quilt. I'm determined not to let this sit for another 4 months, so watch this space.

I wish I could help with squaring up but I am terrible at it, so much so I just trim it with scissors by eye now and to hell with it lol Looking great though!!
It looks as though you've made a lot of progress!
That's a gorgeous flimsy (hard to get photos of them when you have to use the floor - I have the same problem - it would help if we were 7' tall and could photograph the entire thing from up high, lol) - what are you using for the borders?
It looks great! I love the colors and the design :D
I love all of the colors paired with the solid sashing. Are you going to use the same color on the borders as you used in the sashing?
this looks pretty amazing to me I am sure you will square it up and it will soon be on a bed
Looking good, Wendy!!! No advice from me on squaring a quilt. I just eyeball it, so not accurate at all.
I love this one Wendy... the colours are so lovely together...
Hugz
I'd forgotten about these. They've come together well, can't beat an open floor like that
That looks lovely! Sorry can't help with squaring it up as it turns out I'm even rubbish with small things despite trying using a ruler... can't wait to see it finished :)
